Avighnamasthu...My First Song.

Today I am going to present my first song into the world of audio blogging. I am totally new to blogging and I was confused how to proceed. But Pradip Somasundaran who was my teacher in college helped me to start this blog. I sincerely thank him for his guidance and support. The article which I saw in 'Mathrubhoomi' on blogging inspired me to know more about the possibilities.
The first song I am posting is a superb melody composed by the melody king of Malayalam, Johnson and sung by G Venugopal. The song is 'Thaane Poovitta Moham' from the film 'Sasneham'. Venugopal was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for the song.
I hope all of you will enjoy and give me valuable feedback to improve myself.
Song 1
Song : Thane poovitta Moham
Movie : Sasneham
Lyrics : Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri
Music : Johnson
Originally Sung by : G Venugopal
Sung By : Murali Ramanathan

Murali, I think you can increase the audio quality of the mp3 a little by re-encoding the wav file in 192Kbps/44KHz and putting a seperate link for dialup users with a 64Kbps/44KHz file as I have done. So will give both options to the listener.

Hi Murali
Needless to say that , you're a wonderful singer. You're style is very different from the current singers, who thinks singing has nothing to do with emotions.
Wish you all the best!

Can you sing the bhajan "Hey govinda, Hey Gopala.." in raag Desh Or "Sarvam Brahmamayam" in Darbaari Kanada raag Or "Keshadi Paadam Thozhunnen Keshava" Or "Oru pidi Avaluvaay Janmangal Thedi Njaan .." please ? Hi Murali,
Congratulations!! As a Bsc batchmate I am proud to hear about you at higher levels. The song was superb in your voice. I still remember the the song "Ennavale adi ennavale" which you sang in our class.
Pradip sir (you maynot recollect this Preveen!!, i was a Bsc Comp science student in IHRD Puthuppally), you also have entertained us during leisure time with your "Pazham Thamizh pattunarum" song.

Hi Murali
Really enjoyed the great song in your amazing voice.
Keep it up and post more.
May be you are not there in the main stream due to the fact that there are too many singers now a days. But I would like to see you contributing more to the world of music rather than just sing a few songs and walk away.
All the best wishes.
-Manu
