Wo Shaam Kuchh Ajeeb Thi- A Tribute to Kishore
Today I am trying out a Hindi Song of the ever green talent Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar achieved notable successes as a Singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, screenwriter and scriptwriter. He has sung in many Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannanda, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Oriya.The song I am presenting is a beautiful composition by Hemant Kumar. This is the first time I am trying a Hindi song seriously. Thanks to Pradip Sir for providing an oppurtunity to learn a couple of Hindi songs.I am using this oppurtunity to learn more by hearing from all of you.

Murali. Superb effort. The southie accent does come across (like most of the others), but thats a matter of time and some effort (you should start reading / speaking / listening to hindi stuff to ensure desired comfort). Your control on the song was flawless.

Beatifully sung Murali!! I played the same song in Kishore Kumars voice after hearing yours. You have sung it very well. Somehow I felt sad mood you are rendering very well. Hope you will be posting some fast numbers also.

Something wells up within, on listening to that one, Murali - so much bhavam! Your "hein" can be touched upon a bit more, for that natural "boli hindi" effect. This's the one I like best in your collection - good work!
